Also Know As: Pea Gravel, Chat or 1/2" Washed Stone

This is a product that has been through both sizing and washing operations. The vast majority of this stone is between 3/8" and 1/2" in size. However as with all NCDOT specifications there can be a small percentage of smaller stone and fines mixed in as well.

Applications: The majority of the 78m we produce is used in both cement and asphalt production. Other applications are roofing, driveways, walkways, landscaping etc.

Washed Stone - #57 (NCDOT Specifications)

Also Know As: #4, 3/4" to 1" Washed Stone

This is a product that has been through both sizing and washing operations. The vast majority of this stone is between 3/4" and 1" in size. However as with all NCDOT specifications there can be a small percentage of smaller stone and fines mixed in as well.

Applications: This stone is also used in driveways, it can also be used in drain fields, french drains, anywhere you would like the water to move away without soil erosion. This product is also used in various asphalt pavements. There are also various landscaping uses, such as a alternative for mulch.

Also Know As: 2" Washed Stone

This is a product that has been through both sizing and washing operations. The vast majority of this stone is between 3/4" and 2" in size. However as with all NCDOT specifications there can be a small percentage of smaller stone and fines mixed in as well.

Applications: This stone is also used in driveways where there may be a need for a larger stone to help stabilize a wet or damp area. It can also be used in drain fields, anywhere you would like the water to move away without soil erosion. This product is also used in various asphalt payments.

3" Ballast

Also Know As: Ballast, Railroad Ballast

This is a product that has been through both sizing and washing operations. The vast majority of this stone is between 1-1/16" to 3" in size. However as with all washed stone products there can be a small percentage of smaller stone and fines mixed in as well.

Applications: This stone is used in logging roads, temporary roads, driveways where there maybe a need for a larger stone to help stabilize a wet or damp area.
